The MSR Hyperflow Microfilter weighs only 221 grams. The small size and weight make this filter easy to pack.
The MSR Hyperflow Microfilter comes with a 1,2m hose with a floating sediment pre-filter. The pre-filter is placed directly into the water source. With pumping by hand, water is pressed through the filter. The MSR Hyperflow uses a Hollow-Fiber-Membran (HFM) filter element that is effective against bacteria, protozoa and particles in the water. It can reach a flowrate of up to 3 liters per minute.
A Quick-connect bottle adapter allows you to easily connect a large mouth water bottle directly to your MSR Hyperflow Microfilter. This way, the filtrated water is stored safely while you are pumping.

Maintenance:
The hollow fibers in the Hyperflow filter element will get clogged by contaminants that were removed from your drinking water. The element can be easily cleaned by back flushing it with filtrated water. A simple procedure makes it possible to reverse the direction of the water flowing through the filter, allowing you to clean the element without using any tools.
