Ceramic filter element for use in Doulton water filter housings. The Ultracarb SI element reduces lime scale, heavy metals, chlorine and bacteria.

Description

The Ultracarb SI filter element is based on the original Doulton Ultracarb filter. In the SI version, polyphosphates are added to reduce the amount of lime in your drinking water. With this filter element, the water is softened which leads to less lime scale built-up in your appliances.

The Ultracarb SI filter element has the same size as the other Doulton10” ceramic candles. Therefore, this candle fits in all Doulton filter housings and can be used as a replacement filter for standard Supercarb and Ultracarb filter candles.

Operation mode:

Pressurized water main. Doulton drinking water filters are connected to your tap or to the mains.

Reduces:

  • Lime scale
  • Heavy metals
  • Chlorine and chemicals
  • Bacteria and viruses
  • Sediment, sand, rust and particles

Caution for use with very hard water:

When the water in your area is very hard, more than 18°dH, we advice you to use a dedicated limescale filter such as the Doulton Cleansoft filter element.
